6 hours 45 minutes till we leave for Paris, Spain & Portugal. Not that we’re counting. A ride to the airport with our Uber driver kicks off our day.
Thoughtful Packing
I’ve laid everything out before I start packing because I needed to see the mix & match was going to work.
We’re going to be gone for a few weeks but are only taking a carry-on & personal item each, so that is tricky.
I’ve narrowed it down to 1 pair of jeans with embellished cuffs, 1 pair of black cuffed dress pants, 1 pair of red dress pants, 1 black skirt with attached leggings, 1 fuchsia top, 1 red top, 1 white collared shirt, 1 grey pullover with white dots, 1 black pullover with attached leopard blouse, 1 bejewelled cardigan, 2 pairs of pjs, 2 hats, 3 colourful scarves(1 is our leopard print version from our TheVenturio.com site), 1 striped silk blouse, 1 velvet blazer, 1 pair leather boots, 1 pair of Vessi waterproof classic Chelsea boots, a black slim hooded puffer coat & a crossbody bag.
I’ve got packing cubes + compression bags from our travel site (TheVenturio.com) because I love things neat & tidy, so when everything is rolled tightly, it takes up so much less room. I am taking one of our magnetic power banks, the fillable travel neck pillow (that’s where my puffer coat will go), also one of our shoe storage bags.
I usually keep all of my cosmetics, toothbrush, haircare, medication in a clear bag in my personal item so it’s easy to access & doesn’t take up room in my carry-on. My laptop, eReader, tech( incl. a multi USB card reader from TheVenturio.com), travel mug & 1 pair of the pjs also goes in my personal item just in case(we’ve had our carry-ons lost before because the airline had made us check them).
