That was the schedule for today, so we went off early to avoid the crowds.
We stopped for a bit of breakfast at a cafe down the hill from Sacre Coeur, called Le Grand Comptoir d’Anvers, Paris, France. We were seated by an amusing server, who basically ran the busy front of house herself, with ease.
We ordered le petit déjeuner plus gourmand for 15€ with chocolat, fresh squeezed OJ, a fresh flaky croissant, and an omelette with ham & cheese. It came quite quickly & was delicious – the protein we’d need to fuel our busy day.
The cafe was a beehive of activity, it looked like the local for quite a few people, who were all gathered around the silver, hammered bar laughing & enjoying their hot drinkPetit Dejeuner on the Run
