We had recently been able to claim benefits from various sources to be able to enjoy the airport lounge the last time we travelled, now that we’ve experienced it, we added it to this next trip.
We’re heading to Europe today & are taking advantage of The Skyteam Lounge at YVR.
This calm, clean space, in the International Terminal near Gate 53, has views of the runway, plenty of comfortable seating, bistro tables & charging ports.
At the moment, it’s decorated beautifully for Chinese New Year, and is serving dishes to complement the holiday, including a congee station.
We chose the breakfast food this time (eggs, toast, sausage, fruit, yogurt) or you could enjoy wraps, small sandwiches & sweets.
There is a lovely bar, where the champagne corks are popping, a cappuccino bar with the steamy scent of fresh espresso & many refreshing choices of juice or other non-alcoholic drinks.
If you want to freshen up, there are also well-appointed washrooms, including showers.
