This list reflects where we’d happily return tomorrow, not because the brochures say so, but because the experience earned it.

We hope you’ll agree!

The intensity of colour in the sunrise, the occasional burst of the flame in the burner, the vast desert & the absolute silence will always stay with us from our trip with Atlas Mountains Hot Air Balloon Ride by Marrakech.

Massive sand dunes that you can’t even see over before you come slipping & sliding down, followed by riding gentle camels with their impish calves tagging along, the sand skiing, belly dancing, henna painting, delicious Bedouin BBQ feast, even the Shisha smoking, made it a trip to remember.

Absolutely stunning marble architecture, with 82 domes trimmed in gold, steeped in Islamic tradition. Breathtaking dinner cruise on a historic Dhow boat.

This secret underground headquarters of the British Government (1940-1945) gives a fascinating look into the thousands of vital hours that must have been spent here by Winston Churchill & hundreds of, highly classified, men & women.

Fly in the speedy elevator up the record breaking height of the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, where you’ll see spectacular views of Dubai, from an astounding 163 floors (2, 716 ft)!

Be blown away by an actual movie wonderland, where movies like Gladiator, The Jewel of the Nile, The Mummy, Prison Break & The Game of Thrones were filmed literally in the middle of the desert!

From the opulence of the golden Grand Palace in Bangkok to the serenity of the Buddhist monks, to a peaceful cruise along the Chao Phraya River… Bangkok will amaze you with its history & kind people.

It’s hard to say what was more fun in Las Vegas: the recognizable tunes from Jersey Boys “December 1963” or “Sherry” or the oh-so-singable songs from Rock of Ages like “Don’t Stop Believin” or “Here I go Again”! Was it the icons like Elton John, Diana Ross & Celine Dion? The sheer entertainment of David Copperfield or Carrot Top? Whatever it was, we’d highly recommend them all!

This may not be something for everyone, but we feel as we’re so fortunate in our lives, we should understand the hardships of those before us. Berlin -(Sauchenhausen Camp). This was a sobering experience but one that deserved a place in our travel memories.

Cooking class Marrakech: Learning about different foods, the intense flavours, the richest spices in the world, the proper making of Moroccan Mint Tea… an experience we would absolutely love to try in other countries.

With every trip, we offer feedback to travel companies along with honest views for you, the reader. We rate adventures on a scale of one to five tickets, judged on quality, service, memorability, and price. A perfect ‘Ticket Rating’ of a five-ticket score means the experience was flawless and we’d eagerly return. Your desire to go back is the ultimate measure of a trip’s worth.
