We hope you’ll agree!

Rome’s iconic ancient arena, the largest ever built, held up to 50,000 spectators who would come see gladiator contests & other events. It’s an unbelievable UNESCO World Heritage Site that just has to be toured with a guide for the full effect.

This ancient citadel is perched on a rocky hill, with a beautiful view of Athens. Also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it boasts the Theater of Dionysus & the Parthenon. You won’t believe the architectural wonder of this place.

The Taj Mahal, an ivory white marble mausoleum, is just breathtaking. This timeless symbol of eternal love was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. You won’t believe how massive it is or what happened to the Emperor at the hands of his own son.

The city of Pompeii was buried & preserved under volcanic ash after Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD, but do you know that its citizens would have died a much slower and more painful death had that not happened? Taking the tour will answer this & many other questions for you. The remarkably intact ruins, temples, frescos & even plaster casts of victims teach how sophisticated this city was.

Windsor, the oldest, largest occupied castle in the world, has been a royal residence for nearly 1,000 years. It’s a working palace used by the British monarchy who perform official duties, including King Charles III. You can (& should) visit St. George’s Chapel (burial place of Queen Elizabeth II) & the State Apartments, to name a few.

This famous Greek ruin at Cape Sounion, Greece, is dedicated to the god of the sea, Poseidon. The unbelievable sweeping views over the Aegean Sea & Saronic Gulf, are simply mind blowing.

St. Paul’s Cathedral has been a backdrop for many major events in history, such as the wedding of King Charles III to Lady Diana Spencer & the funeral of Winston Churchill. It’s hard to imagine it having been destroyed in the Great Fire of 1666, when you see it’s glory today.

There are five beaches along the Normandy Coast: Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno & Sword, where Allied forces landed on D-Day (June 6, 1944). Operation Overlord was the largest seaborne invasion in history, marking the beginning of the liberation of Western Europe from Nazi Germany. Seeing the glorious beaches makes it hard to believe such terrible things happened on them so long ago.

This historic port is the home of the Royal Navy, where you can tour the Dockyard, and actually board Nelson’s HMS Victory & Henry VIII’s Mary Rose ships. Along with the incredibly interesting maritime history, there are also modern attractions such as Gunwharf Quays, a modern shopping area with designer stores, Spinnaker Tower, museums, beaches, and many places to dine or stay.

This museum, dedicated to Anne Frank’s life & her diary, raises awareness about the Holocaust. This is where Anne & her family hid from Nazi persecution during World War II, for over two years. After having read the book “Anne Frank” as a young adult, this really hit hard to see the space, feeling the intensity as you walk in the door. A must do.
