First-hand travel guides, road trips, city breaks, hotels and unforgettable experiences from our travels across the UK.

The United Kingdom combines iconic cities, royal history, dramatic coastlines and unforgettable road trips. Made up of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, it offers remarkable variety within one destination.
Royal Landmarks, Ancient History and Unforgettable British Road Trips. Our travels have focused mainly on London and southern England, where every return feels both familiar and full of discovery.
London brings together Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, Tower of London, the River Thames, Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, while nearby Windsor Castle adds another chapter of royal history. From our base in Bath, we have explored Stonehenge, Avebury, the Roman Baths, the Royal Crescent and the Circus, where Nicolas Cage was once a resident.
A recent 24-hour road trip took us to Portsmouth, where we boarded HMS Victory, Nelson’s famous flagship. Britain also offers beautiful beaches, cathedrals and castles. It remains especially meaningful because my husband was born in England and family brings us back regularly. Our firsthand guides will help you explore with confidence.
