Sometimes Sundays are for trying something new… today was popping in to The Purple Cafe in Downtown Abbotsford.

This newly opened cafe is comfortable & modern with its lovely message “We Purple You” that’s representing purple as the last colour of the rainbow, meaning I will trust & love you forever (from Kim Taehyung – V of the Korean boy band BTS)

We ordered a grilled cheese, avocado toast, a Purple Velvet Latte & a Watermelon Berry Refresher.

Everything was tasty but we had our eye on dessert! We took home a slice of beautiful purple layer cake & a single portion cookie and cream cake. Also scrumptious!

The staff were very friendly & the bright interior made us think of coming back to sit in the window seats to do a little work with a treat another day.
