‘Tuna’ Fish & Chips!
We happened upon a long lineup outside Bowpicker Fish & Chips, operating out of a converted gillnet boat, famous for its albacore tuna fish & chips.
It’s known for fresh, lightly beer-battered Albacore tuna with thick-cut fries, that people were standing around eating or hanging out on their tailgates enjoying.
The only issue we had was that our meals sat on the counter while the server continued refilling sauces, so when we got them, they were cold.
A bit disappointing as the lineup was a good 30 minutes long, which we were happy to wait for when we thought it would be hot & delicious. Not to mention the total was $45.77… and those were both HALF orders with a diet pop.
The half order we each tried was tasty… but hot & fresh would have been better.
